Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Manager for Zero-gravity Propellant Management to lead a multidisciplinary team of fluid analysis and hardware engineers. You will steer propulsion component design, development, build, and test, while aligning with customer requirements and internal design criteria.

You will manage the full employee lifecycle, hire and develop talent, and drive a culture of safety, performance, and continuous improvement across multiple geographic locations.

Qualifications

• Requires proven leadership of engineering teams.
• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required.
• Strong propulsion and thermodynamics fundamentals.
• 5+ years in engineering with aerospace propulsion experience.
• 2+ years of project management experience.
• Cross-disciplinary knowledge across design, analysis, manufacturing, testing and vehicle integration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead propulsion hardware design, development, build and test decisions.
• Own lifecycle from development to production for assigned scope.
• Manage interdisciplinary engineering tasks for system success.
• Ensure quality of engineering outputs and technical guidance.
• Oversee requirements decomposition, systems engineering, design, analysis, and verification/validation.
