Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville, Alabama, is seeking a proven engineering leader to guide a fluid analysis and propulsion team. You will define, develop, and deliver propulsion components for spacecraft, leading cross‑disciplinary teams across locations, and communicating risks and progress to stakeholders.

Responsibilities include technical leadership, programmatic delivery, and people management, with collaboration to control cost and schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading and managing teams to deliver complex engineering products.
• Minimum of a B.S. degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with propulsion focus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead propulsion hardware design, development, build, and test.
• Own the technical plan and ensure alignment with customer requirements and internal criteria.
• Oversee lifecycle of product scope from development through production and delivery.
• Manage interdisciplinary engineering tasks for system success and drive risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to meet cost and schedule targets.
