Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Propulsion Leadership role to guide a multi-disciplinary team through design, development and production of spacecraft propulsion components. You will partner with vehicle teams and stakeholders to drive performance, cost, and schedules in a fast-paced environment.

You will also manage talent, ensure HR processes, and lead continuous improvement across the propulsion program while maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong background in propulsion and thermodynamics.
• Experience with aerospace propulsion systems and deep-space vehicles.
• 2+ years of project management.
• Ability to manage HR processes and performance.
• Experience with requirements negotiation and systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee product delivery from development to production across a propulsion scope.
• Identify, document, and mitigate technical and programmatic risks.
• Coordinate with Operations and Supply Chain to meet cost and delivery objectives.
• Manage team execution and lifecycle costs.
• Develop data frameworks to inform key project metrics.
• Lead talent acquisition, development, and performance management.
