Job summary

GE Vernova Gas Power seeks an Operations & Quality Leader to own the QMS for the Heavy Duty Services ITR Engineering organization and drive Zero Defect execution across a 500+ person team.

You will set annual priorities, govern the operating system, and provide executive decision support with data-driven dashboards and SQDC-focused leadership cadence, ensuring delivery of a $2B revenue portfolio with uncompromising technical integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering operations, quality management, or program management within an industrial technology environment.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and managing organizational change in a complex, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Quality Management System (QMS) ownership: lead the HDS ITR Engineering QMS and enforce 'Zero Defect' quality standards.
• Operational Governance: own the operating system for the organization, set annual priorities, rhythms, and cadences.
• Performance & KPI: define and manage a dashboard with metrics for cycle time, quality escapes, and capacity utilization.
• Strategic Initiative & Program Management: drive initiatives such as Engineering 2030 and value stream improvements.
• Demand & Capacity Management: balance demand against capacity for proposals and project execution.
• Financial & Program Leadership: manage budget planning and cost-center discipline.
• Executive Partnership & Flow: act as trusted proxy for the GM and manage leadership communications.
