Job summary

GE Vernova seeks an Operations & Quality Leader to own the QMS for Heavy Duty Services ITR Engineering and serve as Chief of Staff to the GM. You will govern the 500+ person team and drive Zero Defect quality, data-driven decisions, and strategic initiatives while ensuring alignment with the GE Vernova Way.

This role reports to the General Manager of HDS ITR Engineering. You will lead governance, performance dashboards, and executive communications, balancing safety, quality, delivery, and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline is required.
• Minimum of 7 years in engineering operations, quality management, or program management in industrial tech.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a complex, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the QMS for HDS ITR Engineering and enforce Zero Defect quality standards.
• Own the operating system and governance, roadmaps, and leadership cadences.
• Define metrics for engineering cycle time, quality escapes, and capacity utilization.
• Lead strategic initiatives like Engineering 2030 and value stream improvements.
• Drive global resource planning and balance demand against capacity.
• Manage budgets, risks, and opportunities with proactive mitigation.
• Communicate with GM and provide data-driven executive updates.
