Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a program coordinator to recruit eligible youth for the Job Corps program and conduct outreach across communities, centers, and events. The role requires meeting departmental goals and coordinating travel arrangements for applicants.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree with four years’ youth experience, strong speaking and communication skills, and holds a valid driver's license.

Mansioni

• Recruit eligible youth for Job Corps Program.
• Conduct outreach activities in communities, agencies, American Job Centers, and public events.
• Responsible for meeting departmental and center goals and objectives.
• Conduct orientation and interview with applicants including parent in case of minors.
• Perform applicant files procedures (data entry, scan documents on e- file).
• Participate in departmental meetings.
• Coordinate with centers to support applicants in travel arrangements.
• Perform Quality Assurance Checks on all applicant files.
• Assess graduates/former trainee's placement readiness, provide appropriate referrals and accompanying support services in accordance with DOL, Center, and Equus requirements.
• Ensures timely placement and retention of assigned graduates and former enrollees in quality jobs, the military, or further education and training opportunities.
• Promotes job development through direct contact with employers, One-Stops, JTPA, and State Employment Agencies.
• Clearly communicates and consistently models appropriate CSS and employability skills.
• Maintains accountability of staff, students, and property.
• Adheres to safety practices in all areas of responsibility.
• Fosters and sustains a conducive environment at the center, ensuring it remains free from harassment, intimidation, and disrespect, thereby ensuring a safe space for both staff and students to engage in work and learning.
• Attends all required staff training opportunities.
