Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a Hybrid-position staff member to recruit eligible youth for the Job Corps Program and coordinate with centers to support applicants in travel and documentation. The role emphasizes outreach, screening, and compliance with government directives.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (or an associate’s with two years of related experience) and experience with diverse youth, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree with two years related experience required.
• Experience working with diverse youth is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in state of employment with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Recruit eligible and suitable youth for Job Corps Program.
• Interface with outreach contractors and determine student qualifications for enrollment.
• Conduct outreach activities in communities, agencies, American Job Centers, and public events.
• Meet departmental and center goals and objectives.
• Conduct orientation and interviews with applicants including parents when minors are involved.
• Perform applicant files procedures (data entry, scanning documents).
• Coordinate with centers to support applicants in travel arrangements.
• Perform Quality Assurance Checks on all applicant files.
• Communicate clearly and model CSS and employability skills.
