Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston seeks a full-time Visual Arts Program Manager to lead and continually improve our youth arts programming for ages 6-18. This role ensures high-quality, engaging experiences across visual, performing, culinary, and literary arts while upholding BGCB values and youth development principles.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Direct experience developing and delivering arts programs for youth.
• Knowledge of trends in arts programming and technology in the arts.
• Must have CPR and First Aid certification.
• Minimum one-year supervisory experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and web-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and continuous improvement of diverse arts programming for youth 6-18.
• Coordinate learning experiences that foster creativity and positive youth outcomes.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment with youth-centered practices.
• Monitor program quality and use data to inform enhancements.
• Foster partnerships with clubs, schools, and community organizations.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision to staff and volunteers.
• Manage onboarding, training, performance reviews, and professional development.
