Job summary

WellLife Network in Manorville, NY seeks a compassionate Child Support Professional to provide structured, trauma-informed care for youth in residence, supporting daily living, skill-building, and family engagement in a therapeutic environment. You’ll supervise residents, teach independence, coordinate transport and activities, document progress, and collaborate with families and clinicians.

A high school diploma is required; a NYS driver’s license is essential, with associate degree preferred

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Experience working with children with emotional or behavioural needs preferred.
• Valid New York State driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Offer tailored supervision and care for each resident, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Demonstrate positive behaviours and embody the program’s core values to influence residents constructively.
• Utilise strength-based techniques to foster resilience and asset-building.
• Teach daily living skills, track progress, and maintain a therapeutic milieu that supports emotional growth.
• Create a home-like environment through household routines and residents’ involvement.
