Job summary

Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a Youth Sports Instructor to lead on-site youth sports programming, including warmups, activities and games, following the YMCA curriculum.

You will teach age-appropriate skills across sports like basketball, soccer, and football, ensuring a safe, engaging environment for members and participants. Morning, evening, and weekend availability are required to support our community programs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Excellent knowledge of instructing in basketball, soccer, football, and more.
• Ability to perform activities requiring sustained concentration and attention.
• Availability mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Run on-site instruction for youth sports programming including stretch & warmup, activities, & games for respective sport.
• Teach age-appropriate skills following YMCA curriculum for respective sport.
• Provide a safe & clean environment that allows members and participants to learn YMCA programs.
• Lead classes with positivity & enthusiasm.
• Provide excellent service to members and participants.

What is needed for this job:

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Excellent knowledge of instructing in the program area - Basketball, Soccer, Football, and more!
