Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Paxton, MA, is seeking a Direct Support/Care Professional to supervise and support youth aged 4–14 in a 1:3 staff-to-student setting. The role focuses on safety, therapeutic interventions, and teaching daily living skills.

The position offers a Wednesday–Friday 2:00pm–10:30pm and Saturday 8:30am–10:30pm schedule, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus and an additional $250 bonus upon MAP certification.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of youth as assigned.
• Provide therapeutic interventions in a compassionate, safe environment.
• Engage youth positively and reinforce appropriate behaviors.
• Teach Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills.
• Complete required documentation such as progress notes and incident reports.
