Job summary

Trinity Youth Services in Yucaipa, CA is hiring a Complex Youth Specialist to join our residential team. The role focuses on direct supervision of youth aged 13–18, supporting trauma recovery, and helping them achieve personal goals with hope for a brighter future.

The position requires clear English communication, a valid CA driver’s license, and a background check. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus; compensation starts at $19.00 per hour with bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional relevant study or experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or Child Development preferred or equivalent experience.
• Pass physical exam, drug clearance, and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain one-on-one supervision of youth, focusing on safety and well-being.
• Support growth toward goals per individualized treatment plan.
• Initiate incident reports and document dorm logs and other records.
• Use trauma-informed interventions to guide behavior and self-control.
• Drive a vehicle to transport youth when needed.

Skills
