Job summary

Trinity Youth Services is seeking a Recreation Team Support Worker to join our residential team in Yucaipa, CA. You will develop and supervise a structured recreation program for youth ages 13-18, ensuring safety, adherence to guidelines and a positive, trauma-informed environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, California driver’s license, background checks, and strong English communication; bilingual abilities are a plus. Schedule: Wed-Sat 2:00 PM–10:00 PM; pay: $18/hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related degree preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license required.
• Must pass background checks; Child Abuse Index check.
• Experience with youth in group homes, STRTP, or similar settings preferred.
• Must be 21+ and able to pass a physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a recreation program under supervision.
• Supervise youth during off-grounds field trips.
• Provide structure to youth before departures.
• Ensure adherence to dress code and outing requirements.
• Plan recreation activities meeting youth needs.
• Serve as a positive role model and support trauma recovery.
