Job summary

Detroit Recovery Project (DRP) seeks a full-time Youth Recovery & Services Support Coordinator to provide direct community-based support for youth and coordinate programs. You will link participants to housing, treatment, medical and employment resources, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with partners to sustain referrals and program goals.

This role requires a GED or high school diploma, at least one year of experience in SUD or behavioral health, and a valid Michigan

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of experience in SUD, behavioral health, or related field.
• Familiarity with Detroit-area resources related to SUD and mental health services.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and engagement to individuals within the community.
• Link participants to services, including housing, treatment, medical, and employment resources.
• Support daily program operations and ensure alignment with program goals and timelines.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including service notes and required reports.
• Enter data into designated systems (tablet/iPad or EHR) during or following client interactions.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners to support referrals and program sustainability.
• Ensure adherence to agency policies, procedures, and evidence-based practices.
• Support team coordination efforts, including communication and ongoing feedback.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and community events as required.
• Maintain flexibility in scheduling, including occasional evenings or weekends.
