Recovery Action Network is seeking a Prevention & Community Outreach Coordinator to support youth and family prevention initiatives, outreach activities, and public awareness across Western Wayne County. This full-time role combines community-based work with planning, communications, and administrative duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CPRC certification preferred/required.
• Lived recovery experience with at least 24 months in recovery.
• Experience in community outreach, prevention education, youth or family programming.
• Strong communication, public speaking, facilitation, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver school-based prevention education and youth activities.
• Organize family workshops, community events, and outreach campaigns.
• Develop educational materials on prevention, overdose prevention, and harm reduction.
• Manage social media, calendar, and monthly newsletter in collaboration with staff.
