YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region is seeking a Site Director to oversee school-age childcare programs, Before & After School, Adventure Days, Break Camps, and Summer Day Camp. You will lead staff, supervise children, and build positive relationships with families to foster safe, nurturing experiences.

You'll manage program operations, ensure licensing compliance, and implement age-appropriate curricula while modeling core YMCA values and collaborative teamwork with parents and peers.

Qualifications

• Verifiable education or training in work with school-age children (recreation/education).
• Option A: four-year degree in recreation, education, or human services.
• Option B: two years college + 910 hours of child-care experience.
• Option C: three years of experience with 40 hours of safety/playground training.

Responsabilités

• Supervise site staff and campers across before/after school programs and camps.
• Provide leadership and coach counselors to meet YMCA standards.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Ensure safety, health, and licensing compliance; respond to incidents.
• Maintain open communication with parents and stakeholders.
