Job summary

YMCA of Metro Denver is seeking an Out-of-School Time Program Lead to guide a team, create a safe and engaging environment, and foster youth growth. You will help plan daily activities and support program delivery with a focus on YMCA values.

Under the direction of the Site Director, you will assist with behavior management, ensure participant safety, and promote welcoming, inclusive programming for youth after school.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 months (460 hours) experience working with children under 13.
• Experience in a youth-centered educational learning environment preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing daily OST activities.
• Support safety and behavior management for all participants.
• Observe and document youth engagement for groups of up to 15.
• Attend trainings, staff meetings and in-services as required.
