Job summary

The Boys and Girls Club of the Northern Plains in Brookings is seeking a Program Coordinator to plan, implement, and evaluate the program, including grant opportunities. The Program Coordinator upholds Club values, assists in staff supervision, and communicates with the Elementary Director on operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or three years equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 1-year experience with youth services organizations.
• Must understand, implement, and demonstrate principles of behavior management and other youth treatment modalities, per Club training and values.

Responsibilities

• Approves program plans, including specialized and night programming.
• Ensure all programming is high quality, fun, and engaging.
• Evaluate Club programs, report findings, and take appropriate action to correct.
• Establishes an environment that ensures the health and safety of members.
• Assist in designing impact programs that produce measurable outcomes.
• Responsible for communicating daily with the Elementary Director on overall Club and program operations.
