Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Plains seeks a Unit Director to lead day-to-day operations, public relations, and crisis management for all Units in Moody County, SD. You will serve as the local face of the Club, ensure implementation of Positive Youth Development elements, and oversee policy, safety, and culture.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Proven management experience in youth-serving or nonprofit environments.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities to supervise staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience engaging with parents, schools, and community partners.
• Commitment to Positive Youth Development and Club values.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Club operations and ensure a safe, well-run environment.
• Lead staffing, performance reviews, training, and staff meetings.
• Manage behavior policies and youth development initiatives.
• Represent the Club publicly through media and community partnerships.
• Oversee grants, events, and program reporting.
• Monitor budgets and ensure responsible resource use.
