Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania in Glenshaw, PA is seeking a Youth Development Professional to implement curriculum and programming on a day-to-day basis. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2500 hours of experience with children.
• Interest in youth programs including tech, art, sports, STEM, mentoring and recreation.
• Proficient in Google Suite.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and other mobility tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create and support meaningful lesson plans and activities for youth.
• Implement educational programming including STEAM, mentoring, athletics, and literacy.
• Ensure safety of all participants during care.
• Encourage participation in clubhouse community events.
• Promote membership through programs, services and outreach.
• Participate in incentive programs focusing on literacy, STEM, art, mentoring, athletics and SEL.
• Work with volunteers and tutors in ongoing education improvements.
• Promote a fun, safe, inclusive environment for all ages.
• Provide input on department programs with supervisor approval.
• Observe and report maintenance and safety concerns to the Clubhouse director.
