Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston is seeking a dedicated staff member to oversee program planning, implementation, and supervision across education, athletics, arts, technology, and games areas. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years experience working with youth and families required.
Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Interpret BGCGH programs and philosophy.

Responsibilities

Plan, implement, supervise and evaluate programs across core areas to prepare youth for success and promote safety.
Organize a range of daily, noncompetitive programs for drop-in members and visitors.
Initiate new activities, promote participation and identify new program opportunities.
Monitor progress against goals and report to staff meetings.
Maintain a healthy, safe environment and supervise members.
Manage facilities and inventory of equipment and supplies; requisition needs.
Assist in budget preparation with Club Director; recruit and train volunteers.
Engage parents about opportunities and club participation.
Collaborate with staff on events and required trainings.
