Job summary

BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF GREATER HOUSTON INC. seeks an Entry Lead Youth Development Specialist at the Mission Bend Club in Houston, TX. This part-time role focuses on delivering programs in Education, Technology, Arts & Crafts and Physical Education, planning, developing and supervising activities.

The successful candidate will oversee program delivery, manage staff and volunteers, ensure safety, and promote youth development outcomes through structured schedules and constructive feedback.

Qualifications

• Four year degree in related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
• High school education required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to plan, supervise and evaluate youth programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee administration of Club programs and activities.
• Develop weekly or monthly program schedules and recruit participants.
• Ensure safety and positive development of youth during activities.
• Lead staff and volunteers, provide feedback and performance evaluations.
