Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston is seeking a Club Director to lead and oversee all club operations, ensuring a safe, positive, and engaging environment for youth while advancing program quality, membership growth, staff development, and community partnerships.

This role requires strong leadership, fiscal stewardship, and the ability to build relationships with schools, communities, and volunteers to sustain impact and accountability across key KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Recreation, Youth Development, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 5 years of experience in youth development, education, recreation, or nonprofit management.
• Supervisory and leadership experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and build positive relationships.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of club operations.
• Ensure daily club operations run efficiently and effectively.
• Monitor enrollment, attendance, and membership goals.
• Manage club budget, purchasing, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with BGCGH policies and procedures.
• Lead safety initiatives and emergency preparedness plans.
• Supervise and evaluate all club staff; conduct staff meetings.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention.
• Represent BGCGH in schools and the community; engage volunteers.
• Monitor KPIs (Membership, ADP, Capacity, Retention) and improve programs.
