Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania is seeking a Youth Program Manager for Arsenal School to oversee daily programming, supervise staff, and build relationships with students, families, and school partners. This on-site role focuses on safe, engaging activities across STEM, literacy, arts, and healthy lifestyles, with collaboration between Arsenal School and the Estelle S.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and youth in educational, recreational, after-school, or community-based settings.
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading programs or supervising staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and oversee engaging programs for youth in areas such as STEM, literacy, arts, recreation, leadership, and healthy lifestyles.
• Create a positive, inclusive environment where youth feel safe, supported, and connected.
• Manage daily schedules, activities, attendance, and program operations.
• Support youth recruitment, enrollment, participation, and retention.
• Maintain accurate program records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with BGCWPA policies and applicable licensing requirements.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and support to program staff.
• Assist with onboarding, training, scheduling, and staff development.
• Build strong relationships with students, families, school staff, and community partners.
• Serve as a primary contact for Arsenal School regarding program operations.
• Support family engagement activities, events, and special programs.
• Work with Estelle S. Campbell Clubhouse team for alignment and collaboration.
