Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston seeks a Program Coordinator to plan, implement, and evaluate core programs across education, athletics, arts & crafts, technology, and games room at our Houston club. You will ensure safety, model positive behavior, and foster healthy relationships with youth and families.

Daily duties include coordinating drop-in activities, developing new programs, recruiting and guiding volunteers, and supporting parents while collaborating with staff and the Club

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years experience working with youth and families required.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus; strong communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate programs in core areas (education, athletics, arts & crafts, technology, games room).
• Provide guidance and role modeling to members and ensure safety and program quality at all times.
• Plan and implement noncompetitive programs for daily drop-in members and visitors.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers; engage parents; assist in budget preparation with Club Director.
• Work with staff on special events and Safe Passages Program participation.
