Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania seeks a Program Manager to oversee University Preparatory School programming in Pittsburgh Milliones and the Shadyside Clubhouse. The role focuses on safe, engaging environments where youth learn, grow, and form relationships.

Youth programming, staff supervision, family engagement, and collaboration with school partners are core responsibilities, with a flexible schedule including afternoons and some evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth in educational, recreational, after‑school, or community settings.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience leading programs or supervising staff is preferred.
• Ability to maintain programme records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and oversee programs for youth in STEM, literacy, arts, recreation, leadership, and healthy lifestyles.
• Create a positive, inclusive environment where youth feel safe and connected.
• Manage daily schedules, attendance, and program operations.
• Support youth recruitment, enrollment, participation, and retention.
• Maintain accurate program records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with policies and licenses.
