Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of Worcester is seeking an energetic Social Recreation Coordinator to design and lead recreational and educational programs for youth ages 8–18. The role focuses on building confidence, teamwork, and life skills in a safe, engaging environment.

The position is part-time (29 hours, Monday–Friday, afternoons into evenings) and reports to the Director of Operations. Responsibilities include supervising Games Room activities, coordinating events, and fostering positive

Qualifications

• Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Two years’ work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar setting preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Create and facilitate a variety of recreational, educational, and enrichment activities for youth aged 8–18.
• Organize tournaments, game nights, and special events to encourage participation and teamwork.
• Lead and supervise activities, modeling sportsmanship and positive behavior.
• Build relationships with families and community partners to promote programs.
