City of Edinburg is seeking a Youth Development Professional to implement year-round programs for youth and teens. The role oversees volunteer staff, maintains a safe program environment, and works to raise the program's profile in the community. Flexible weekend/afternoon hours are required.

Responsibilities include sponsoring outreach, coordinating with the Unit Director, and ensuring program quality and safety across city facilities.

Formación

• Pursuing high school diploma, GED or equivalency.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Experience supervising youth programs is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a clean facility and a safe environment for youth and staff.
• Oversee volunteer staff and ensure program delivery.
• Plan and implement year-round youth programs and activities.
• Solicit sponsors and community partners for programs.
• Coordinate with Unit Director on program goals and evaluation.
• Ensure proper reporting and records for programs and events.
• Promote city-sponsored programs to youth, parents, and community.
