Job summary

Sussex Family YMCA in Rehoboth Beach, DE is seeking a School Age Site Intern for the Sussex YMCA CAPE School District location. The intern will assist in supervising children, providing daily care, and supporting classroom activities under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old to meet licensing requirements.
• Option 1: 3 college credits in recreation/education or related field.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children, groups and activities with safe, developmentally appropriate practices.
• Provide daily care including feeding and supporting social/emotional needs.
• Encourage participation in classroom activities, meals, transitions, and gross-motor activities.
• Assist in planning and participating in age-appropriate activities to promote learning.
