Job summary

The Sussex YMCA Family (Cape School District) is seeking a part-time School Age Site Administrator to oversee the Before/After Care program at the Sussex Family YMCA in Rehoboth Beach, DE. You will supervise staff and activities, ensure safety and developmentally appropriate practices, and communicate effectively with parents.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, relevant college credits, and experience with children in grades K–6; a physical/TB screening and background

Qualifications

• To meet licensing requirements, 20+ years of age and one of the listed qualification paths.
• Requires completion of physical and TB screening within 30 days of hire.
• Background checks for Delaware licensing and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• On-site supervision of the Before/After Care program for 50% of operating hours.
• Supervise children, groups, and activities with safe, developmentally appropriate practices.
• Provide daily care including feeding and supporting social/emotional needs.
• Engage children in literacy, health living, STEM and physical activities.
• Document progress and development of children.
• Communicate with parents and staff to maintain positive relationships.
