Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Semester units in child development, human services, or related field preferred.
Experience working with school-age children in group settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

Nurture children through purposeful programming to build achievement and belonging.
Plan, lead, and adapt age-appropriate activities and curriculum.
Maintain close supervision and ensure safety with appropriate staff-to-child ratios.
Engage and communicate with parents, encouraging volunteering and involvement.
Follow YMCA policies on safety, discipline, and emergencies; maintain records.
Participate in trainings, family events, staff meetings, and program activities.
