Job summary

YMCA Southcoast is seeking a Director of Youth Development to lead the branch's youth programming, including school-age care, teens, camps, STEM, and family engagement. You will drive program quality, enrollment growth, and community partnerships to advance YMCA Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in youth and program development or related field.
• Proven ability to establish relationships with schools, families, and community partners.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of STEM education, digital literacy or youth programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the branch's youth development portfolio.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and improve youth programs based on community needs and measurable outcomes.
• Oversee school-age, teen, camps, enrichment, and STEM programs.
• Build partnerships with schools, colleges, employers, and community organizations.
• Monitor program quality, enrollment, safety, and regulatory compliance.
