Job summary

The Program Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta in Lawrenceville oversees daily clubhouse operations, ensuring safe, engaging programs for youth aged 6 to 18 while supporting staff performance and program quality.

You will partner with the Executive Director on budget, community relations, and facility management to deliver strong outcomes and a welcoming, inclusive environment in our Lawrenceville location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; substitute education for experience.
• Six+ years of professional experience in Youth Development or related field.
• Flexibility to work clubhouse hours and seasons changes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong collaboration skills.
• Ability to train, orient and recognize staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality program delivery including core and new initiatives.
• Supervise part-time staff and program volunteers.
• Evaluate programming impact and implement improvements.
• Develop and oversee arts, education, and health program offerings.
• Plan schedules; promote programs; ensure inclusive, engaging activities.
• Manage relationships with members, staff, and partner agencies.
• Assist with crisis management and safety procedures.
• Coordinate budget planning and staff hours with leadership.
