Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta is seeking a Program Director to join our leadership team in Norcross, GA. The role focuses on supervising clubhouse operations, delivering high-quality youth programming, and guiding staff and volunteers to achieve outcomes for ages 6–18.

The Program Director supports the Executive Director in strategic planning, community relationships, and facility management, ensuring a safe, engaging environment and strong program results across the club network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; substitute education for experience.
• Six (6)+ years of professional experience in Youth Development or related field.
• Experience in managing staff and planning activities.
• Flexibility to work clubhouse hours (evenings/weekends).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to train, orient and supervise staff and volunteers.
• Ability to manage program budgets and expenses.
• Ability to handle crisis and resolve conflicts among staff and members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front-line program delivery including core programs, new initiatives and outcomes tracking.
• Direct supervision of part-time staff and program volunteers; staff development.
• Evaluate programming impact and implement ongoing improvements.
• Plan and oversee arts, education, social recreation, health and physical education programs.
• Collaborate with Executive Director on community relationships and facility management.
• Develop monthly/quarterly program schedules and market programs to members.
• Ensure inclusive programming for all genders, abilities, and cultures.
• Maintain program data, reports and communication with stakeholders.
