Qualifications

• A relevant qualification or demonstrated experience in program coordination or administration.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience in the non-profit sector or working with youth programs is an advantage.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with the Paarl community and its needs is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of project management principles.
• A genuine interest in youth empowerment and social development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of youth development programs.
• Coordinate program activities, including scheduling workshops, events, and training sessions.
• Liaise with participants, instructors, and community partners to ensure effective communication.
• Manage program documentation, records, and databases accurately.
• Track program progress against set objectives and provide regular updates.
• Support the procurement of necessary program materials and resources.
• Assist in the organization of participant registration and onboarding processes.
• Help coordinate evaluation activities and gather feedback from stakeholders.
• Provide administrative support to the program team as needed.
• Contribute to the development of program reports and presentations.
