Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Rutland, MA is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to lead youth-focused programming in a therapeutic, safe environment. You will collaborate with program leadership, assist with staffing and planning, and help implement engaging activities for individuals in care.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, supervisory experience, and MAPS certification or the ability to obtain it within six months.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Bachelor’s or High School diploma with congregate care experience as specified; psychology/social work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• MAPS certification required or obtainable within 6 months of employment.
• 2-week paid orientation in Rutland, MA.

Responsibilities

• Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
• Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager/Director to create program vision and a positive working environment.
• Assist with the planning and implementation of programming for individuals.
• Assist with staffing and other aspects of program management as needed.
• Possess strong organizational and communication skills.
