Job summary

Devereux Massachusetts is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to lead with passion for youth and to ensure therapeutic, safe interventions in a supportive environment. The role collaborates with leadership to shape program vision and plan services for individuals, while assisting with staffing and daily program management.

The position requires MAPS certification or ability to obtain it within 6 months, a valid driver's license, and appropriate education.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High School Diploma with two years of congregate care experience or Bachelor’s degree with one year of congregate care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
• Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager/Director to create program vision and a positive working environment.
• Assist with the planning and implementation of programming for individuals.
• Assist with staffing and other aspects of program management as needed.
• Possess a high level of organizational and communication skills.
