Job summary

The YMCA of Coastal Georgia is seeking a dedicated YBASE Site Coordinator to lead and supervise children aged 4-14, ensuring safe, engaging daily activities and smooth transitions between school and pickup. You will coordinate curriculum with the Program Director and maintain accurate attendance and transportation records.

Ideal candidates have childcare credentials (CDA/TCC or Bachelor), CPR/First Aid, and the ability to work with diverse families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Criminal background and fingerprint checks required.
• CPR and First Aid within 90 days of employment.
• 18 hours Bright From the Start trainings per year.

Responsibilities

• Supervise groups of children indoors and outdoors.
• Plan and implement curriculum with the Program Director.
• Maintain attendance records and program paperwork.
• Coordinate school-day to parent pickup transitions.
• Ensure transportation records and bus logs are kept.
• Assist in snack/service counts and meal records.
• Uphold YMCA professional standards and respectful conduct.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in hiring/support.
• Support family engagement and fundraising efforts.
