Job summary

The YMCA of Coastal Georgia, Inc. is seeking a YBASE Group Leader to supervise children ages 4–14 and support daily program operations. You will implement curriculum, supervise indoors and outdoors, and help transition between school hours and parent pickups.

You will maintain attendance, ensure safety, assist with snacks and meals, and partner with the Site Director on records, transport duties, and family engagement events.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check.
• Maintains state and YMCA training hour requirements.
• Basic understanding of child development and developmental practices.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise groups of children indoors and outdoors.
• Implement curriculum provided by Program Director.
• Maintain daily attendance and sign-in/out procedures.
• Assist with transportation duties and bus logs when assigned.
• Sanitize and disinfect program spaces to ensure health standards.
• Distribute snacks and meals with accurate meal counts.
• Engage families and participate in feedback initiatives.
