Job summary

ETSS Tewahedo Social Services in Columbus, OH is seeking a part-time Youth Program Supervisor to oversee site staff, recruit students, and facilitate after-school and summer activities. The position is 20 hours per week with 3pm-7pm shifts on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 5918 Sharon Woods Blvd., Columbus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or social services preferred.
• Experience working with youth programs and diverse populations.
• Strong written and oral communication, time management, and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and implementation of after-school and summer programs.
• Manage day-to-day operations of program sites including safety and maintenance.
• Maintain student files, progress reports, attendance, and other documents.
• Communicate with youth, parents, and school staff regarding needs and progress.
• Establish partnerships with agencies providing services to students and families.
• Recruit tutors and tutor volunteers; plan curriculum activities.
• Supervise, manage, and evaluate program staff.
• Perform tasks to achieve grant objectives as directed.
