Job summary

ETSS Tewahedo Social Services in Columbus, OH is seeking a part-time Youth Program Supervisor to oversee site staff, recruit students, and facilitate after-school and summer activities. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and implementation of after-school and summer programs.

• Communicate with youth, parents, and school staff regarding needs and progress.
• Establish partnerships with agencies providing services to students and families.
• Recruit tutors and tutor volunteers; plan curriculum activities.
• Supervise, manage, and evaluate program staff.
• Perform tasks to achieve grant objectives as directed.

Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 Hourly

Basic Function

Responsible for supervising site staff, recruiting students, facilitating the youth program activities, maintaining site, and performing program-related assignments as needed by the Youth Program Director. This is a part time position for 20 hours per week with 12 hours required from 3pm-7pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The site location is 5918 Sharon Woods Blvd., Columbus, OH, 43229.

Responsibilities

1. Coordinate development and implementation of all aspects of the after-school and summer programs.
2. Manage all day-to-day operations of the program sites, including organization, maintenance, cleaning, safety, and security.
3. Maintain student files, progress reports, attendance, and other necessary participant documents
4. Establish and maintain relationship and communication with youth and parents and staff regarding student’s needs and progress.
5. Establish and maintain communication with the participant’s school regarding student’s needs.
6. Assist in facilitating partnerships with agencies that provide services to students and families.
7. Coordinate and recruit tutors and tutor volunteers
8. Plan curriculum activities and supervise implementation.
9. Supervise, manage, and evaluate staff.
10. Perform tasks pertinent to achieving goals and objectives required by Youth Program grant, or as deemed necessary by Program Director.

Education
