Job summary

YMCA of Northern Utah is seeking a Site Coordinator I to coordinate activities at an assigned childcare site, supervise staff, and maintain a safe, enriching environment for youth. You will work with the Assistant Director and Director of Youth Development on weekly updates and program planning.

The role requires experience with school-aged children, supervisory duties, and ability to manage budgets and enrollment targets in line with grant guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience with school-aged children.
• 1+ year supervisory experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (infant/child) or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Fingerprinting via Department of Child Care Licensing.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
• Mature judgment and sound decision-making.
• Observant, safety-conscious, calm in emergencies.
• Proficiency in Google Platform preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement activities at assigned childcare site.
• Supervise and direct program staff at the site.
• Ensure safety and adherence to YMCA licensing policies and procedures.
• Support program development and grant requirements.
• Recruit and retain participants to meet attendance targets.
• Marketing and recruitment at the site to raise enrollment.
• Oversee staff scheduling and payroll approvals.
• Maintain site records, reporting, and grant fidelity.
