Job summary

The YMCA of San Diego County is seeking a Site Supervisor – Enrichment to oversee program operations, coach staff, and coordinate enrichment activities for K-5 students. The role collaborates with schools, families, and community partners to ensure a safe, engaging environment aligned with YMCA goals.

Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills, experience supervising staff, and the ability to manage program operations and budgets while promoting positive

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a HS diploma/GED.
• Experience supervising YMCA staff or similar setting preferred.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead YMCA staff with regular coaching and direction at the program location.
• Manage monthly expenses to meet program needs and positive fiscal outcomes.
• Plan and provide age-appropriate activities for participants per YMCA goals and policies.
• Complete and submit program paperwork accurately; schedule staff hours and breaks; maintain ratios.
• Supervise participants to ensure safety and guidance at all times.
• Communicate professionally with participants, families, school personnel and partners.
• Collaborate with schools and partners to align academic activities and services.
• Provide positive behavior guidance supporting developmental and social-emotional needs.
• Keep space clean, organized and safe; prepare daily group activities.
• Lead daily group activities with youth in line with daily plans.
