Job summary

BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF MAURY COUNTY seeks dedicated staff to run youth programs for K-12 students. You will implement activities that promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good citizenship, under supervision.

Ideal candidates have experience with children, strong teamwork, reliability, and the ability to keep activities engaging and safe. This is a part-time, in-person role with flexible scheduling for summer and after-school hours.

Qualifications

• Some experience working with children is required.
• Previous experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities with groups of young people is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to relate to young people and control a classroom, while also making sure activities are FUN for the youth.
• Teamwork skills, patience, and creativity are a must.
• Must be reliable and punctual—kids will be counting on you.

Responsibilities

• Execute hands-on programs with youth focused on Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character & Citizenship.
• Prepare youth for success and execute club programs under guidance of the Unit Director.
• Facilitate fun, educational activities aligned with organizational goals.
• Read lesson plans, prepare materials, and assist with day-to-day activities.
• Maintain safety and proper conduct; enforce discipline per policy.
• Record attendance and submit timesheets on time.
