Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of Maury County is seeking a part-time Youth Program Assistant to support hands-on activities for K-12 youth. You will help implement programs aligned with the club's three priority outcomes and assist with day-to-day operations in an in-person setting.

The role requires enthusiasm, dependability, and the ability to engage youth in educational and fun activities after school and during summer hours. Join a team dedicated to youth development at multiple club sites in Tennessee.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Some experience working with children is preferred.
• BGCA or similar organization experience is a plus.
• Ability to relate to youth and manage a classroom while keeping activities fun.
• Teamwork, patience, and creativity are essential.
• Reliable and punctual; show up on time and give full attention.

Responsibilities

• Execute hands-on programs with youth across Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character & Citizenship.
• Prepare youth for success by supporting program activities and planning.
• Read lesson plans, set up materials, and assist with day-to-day program prep.
• Maintain safety and discipline following club policies and guidelines.
• Form positive relationships with youth and mentor, coach, and encourage.
• Record attendance and complete timesheets and required paperwork.
