Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of Maury County in Spring Hill, TN is seeking a Part-time Youth Program Assistant to deliver hands-on programs for K-12 youth, focusing on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character. You will prepare youth for success and support program outcomes under supervision, facilitating engaging activities that build skills.

Responsibilities include reading lesson plans, organizing materials, maintaining safety, mentoring youth, and keeping accurate attendance.

Qualifications

High School diploma required.
Some experience working with children preferred, especially in clubs or groups.
Must relate to youth and keep activities FUN.
Teamwork, patience, and creativity essential.
Reliable and punctual; show up on time and give full attention.

Responsibilities

Execute hands-on programs with youth focused on Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character & Citizenship.
Prepare Youth for Success and support program outcomes.
Facilitate fun and educational activities; follow organizational goals and mission.
Read lesson plans, lay out materials, and prepare for day-to-day activities.
Maintain group control, ensure safety, and apply discipline as needed.
Mentor, coach, and encourage youth; model professionalism.
Ensure safety policies are followed and members are kept safe at all times.
Record attendance and complete timesheets and paperwork on time.
