McBride Quality Services, Inc. seeks a Youth Development Worker in Lansing, MI to provide attentive day-to-day supervision and therapeutic intervention for the Appletree Youth Program.

The role involves participating in team meetings, supervising activities, and ensuring safety and documentation compliance. The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree in human services, and will complete required trainings within the first year.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Attend and participate in Team meetings and trainings.
• Facilitate and supervise both one-on-one and group activities.
• Fulfilling all certifications and training requirements.
• Maintain a safe environment and follow safety plans for youth.
• Able to assist in lifting and follow two-person lifting technique.
• Drive vans for youth pick up, drop off, and outings.
• Administer medications and log them as appropriate.
• Communicate with colleagues, professionals, and referral sources.
• Maintain confidentiality of youth and staff.
