Job summary

Navy Region Northwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a Youth Director to administer developmentally appropriate SAC/YP programs for eligible patrons. The role includes directing operations, budgeting, and personnel management to ensure safe, engaging activities for children and youth within DoD guidelines.

The position emphasizes collaboration with CYP staff, community organizations, and installation personnel to deliver comprehensive services and family support.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child and youth development principles.
• Experience designing and managing complex youth programs.
• Knowledge of DoD/DON regulations related to military child care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SAC/YP programs for up to 199 children with compliance to policies.
• supervise staff and volunteers, ensuring safety and performance.
• Develop budgets, track funds, and ensure proper use of resources.
• Collaborate with CYP Directors and community partners for services.
