Job summary

Navy Region Northwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a Youth Director to oversee developmentally appropriate SAC/YP programs for eligible patrons at a single installation. The role directs operations for up to 199 children, ensures safety and regulatory compliance, and partners with families and local organizations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a related field, strong leadership and budgeting skills, and experience supervising staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and KSAs in youth program management.
• Knowledge of DoD/DoN regulations for military child care.
• Experience in supervising staff and volunteers in a child/youth program.

Responsibilities

• Direct SAC/YP operations for up to 199 children.
• Ensure safety and compliance with policies and standards.
• Supervise staff and volunteers and manage personnel actions.
• Develop surveys and analyses for planning and program evaluation.
• Coordinate with local community partners and schools.
