Job summary

Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a CYP Assistant to engage children and youth in structured activities, supervise daily routines, and communicate with parents. The incumbent will support curriculum implementation, safety, and program assessment in alignment with DoD policies.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to guidelines, and sensitivity to the developmental needs of children and youth within the CY programs on an installation in Newport News, VA.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Develops schedules and activity plans for children and youth.

Supervise program participants in compliance with DoD and local policies.
Communicate with parents and employees regarding program activities and child progress.
Assist in program assessment and compliance with accreditation standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
